A Greenhouse Soirée

Amsterdam, The Netherlands

“A greenhouse getaway for our New York couple . Bringing the beauty of nature inside the urban city centre of Amsterdam. This special 3 day celebration started off with a traditional tea ceremony, followed by a sightseeing boat ride on the city’s iconic canals.  The wedding day started with a Michelin dining experience in the glasshouse setting and a surprise pick-up of limousines to the final venue; a typical Dutch canal house with surprise experiences. From an illusionist to a beer magician, it truly was a unique and indelible event.”

Words from the newlyweds

As a couple living in New York planning our wedding in Amsterdam, working with House of Luce was the only way to make our wedding an event that would live up to our high standards. Lucette and Kiki were extremely good at making our vague dreams a reality, and worked with us to create a three-day wedding extravaganza for our guests. They helped us find all of our venues and vendors and acted as cultural go-betweens as needed. In addition to our wedding dinner, party, and goodbye brunch, they also helped us pull off a flawlessly executed Chinese tea ceremony in the heart of Amsterdam. Even though there were many different things happening at all times, as the bride, I never felt stressed because I knew everything was being taken care of, and taken care of in a very discreet, behind-the-scenes way that also made the events seem effortless to our guests. We chose House of Luce for the combination of white glove service and serious design credibility and they did not disappoint. Every detail was perfectly designed, every strange request we had was taken seriously, and I’m so glad we worked with them.
